Welcome the online edition of Brutallion Magazine, North Jersey's only source for the latest news in the underground music circuit. Specializing in Hardcore, Metal, Grind, Crust, Reagan-Core, Skatecore, Tech-Metal, Thrash and Goregrind. Whatever you want in extreme music, we got.

The month's issue is dedicated entirely to the DRAUGR RECORDS family. We will be reviewing every band on DRAUGR RECORDS, including:

BACK TO BASICS
DEPTH CHARGE
POOPGUSH
PRECISION GRINDER
SLEEPAWAY CAMP
TONIGHT WE RIDE
UNHOLY VIVISECTION
GNOME STRIKER
ONSET APRAXIA

BACK TO BASICS: Irish coated Reagan-Core at its best. Frontman, Sean O'Shaughnessey Fitzpatrick, writes songs which combines the most substantial elements of thrash, hardcore, grindcore, crust and tough guy. The result is a sound that is more enjoyable than any band in any of the above listed genres alone. Beatboy Tommy O'Meagher turns what start as mellow grooves to crushing slams, and bassist Mulligan McPatriot brings the fuzz. Think Spinal Tap if Spinal Tap wore bullet belts. Be careful what you say about these guys, because Sean Fitzpatrick is:

DEPTH CHARGE: Pure strength, pure power, pure hatred. Big Sean on the axe, Big Tom bringin' the beatz, and the Mollicas delivering the hate, what else could on ask for? These boys understand the simple equation that results in Crush: 2-steps and breakdowns. Simple as that. Plus they taught us that hate+hate=strength.

POOPGUSH: Like Crust? You'll love Poopgush. 2 guys, 2 brutal. Seaneigh McLear on Guitar/Bass/Vocals, and Tiny Tom on Drums/Vocals deliver a grindy approach to crust remniscent of such acts as Disrupt, Discharge and Disassociate. Their songs rarely span over 40 seconds and the tempo rarely breaks. One thing's for sure, these boys know how to crust.

PRECISION GRINDER: Fast, Unnappologetic, Grind. If Pig Destroyer and Cretin had a child, it would be Precision grinder. Choppy riffs, blast beats, gutturals, shrieks, what else ya got?
